Show: Next to Normal
Date: 3/12/10
Cast: Jessica Phillips as Diana
Type: Audio
I have committed to full on love for Jessica's Diana. It's exactly how I feel that works. My problem with Alice is that she plays it crazy, but bipolar depressive isn't crazy. I have manic depressive tendencies so it sort of bothers me the way that Alice plays it. But Jessica played it realistically and sincerely and her voice was pretty much flawless. I really loved it.

Day 130-1/29/10
Seth’s Chatterbox with Krysta Rodriguez and Wesley Taylor: So much cuteness and happiness :D Wesley’s story about the Addams Family Audition was sooo awwwdorable.
Day 129-3/28/10
Show: RSO
So I ripped 36 songs from Ryan Scott Oliver’s youtube cannel which only took, like FOREVER. But the outcome was positive. It’s really nice to have all these awesome songs. I gotta say, I really love Jay’s Song of the Dead Fairy and he and Lindsay singing Make Me Happy. Out of the two versions of Hemming and Hawing I think I like Alex and Natalie more than Alex and Lindsay. Not that Lindsay isn’t awesome, I just like that Natalie’s is a little more mellow-ish. I also fell in love with Jay singing The Seraph. Uch. So beautiful. And To Do. Gosh.

Show: In the Heights
Date: 1/31/09
Cast: Krysta Rodriguez as Carla
Type: Audio
Good. It doesn’t seen like Carla’s that big of a role but I thought Krysta did decent.

Day 127-3/26/10
Show: Hair
Date: 3/14/10 PI DAYYYY!
Cast: Kyle Riabko, Ace Young, Diana DeGarmo, Annaleigh Ashford, Josh Lamon, Rachel Bay Jones, Briana Carlson Goodman, Jeannette Bayardelle
Still not 100% about this cast. Ace is just not quite fitting. Kyle is pretty decentish. Jeannette was a fierce Dionne. I hardly even missed Sasha. Diana, I was iffy about. Maybe I shouldn’t have listened to this right after Addams Family because I thought Josh’s Maggie sounded like a younger version of Jackie’s Grandma. And omg, Rachel’s Buddhalirama sounded just like Grandma. And I’m still on the fence with Annaleigh. I feel like she’s pushing too hard. Trying to sing Air a little bit like Kacie. My biggest problem was sometimes in Air it didn’t even sound like she was singing, it only sounded like acting.

Day 126-3/25/10
Show: American Idiot
Cast: John Gallagher Jr, Tony Vincent, Matt Caplan, Will Espers, Mary Faber, Rebecca Naomi Jones, et al.
Type: Video
I sort of understood this better seeing it, but I’m not going to lie, I was still kind of confused. But it was fun. I don’t know if it’s just because he wrote on my wall, but I really liked Tony Vincent. And Theo. Whenever I listened to Holiday before I had wondered who had that part and when I saw that it was Theo and that made me happy. Also I had been wondering if Gerard was in the ensemble or if he was just an understudy or something. And then I saw this little spazzy kid run across the stage and my question was answered.

Day 125-3/24/10
Show: Addams Family
Date: 3/8/10
Type: Audio
I found this really great and funny. Except there were some changes I wasn’t crazy about. I liked Clandango and I missed it. I also missed At Seven. And I wish there was more of the swordfight. Also I missed Wesley’s “Married, yeah, freaking married” But everything else was great. And I love Jackie Hoffman. She is absolutely hilarious. It takes every fiber of my being to not literally laugh out loud during some of her moments.

Day 124-3/23/10
Show: Kacie Sheik and Caissie Levy at Joe's Pub
Date: Forgot
Cast: Kacie Sheik and Caissie Levy
Type: Audio
I wasn't a fan of all of the songs, but those two have gorgeous voices. I've never realized that Kacie's speaking voice was so pretty. One thing that bothered me was that the person who tracked this titled a song as "Teenage Wasteland." What song is that? I only know a Baba O'Reiley

Show: Catch Me If You Can
Date: 2009
Cast: Aaron Tveit, Nobert Leo Butz, Tom Wopat, Kerry Butler, Shoshana Bean, et al
Type: Demo Recording
I liked it. Although I fell asleep during it. There was something that was both familiar and new that I liked.

Day 122-3/21/10
Show: Kerrigan and Lowdermilk: Under the Influence
Date: 3/1/10
Cast: Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk with guests: Annaleigh Ashford, Jenni Barber, Nick Blaemire, Lisa Brescia, Matt Doyle, Meghann Fahy, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Morgan Karr, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Caissie Levy, Kacie Shiek, Vienna Teng, Katie Thompson and The Spring Standards
Type: Audio
I feel bad because I fell asleep during this. Haha. But I actually liked quite a bit of it. Freedom was really good. I just like the way that it sets such a positive opening. Last Week’s Alcohol was a lot deeper than they were at the other concert. But I think he also enunciated better. I understood a lot more words than I did the other time. I really liked Celia’s My Party Dress. It was just really cute and fun. I’m definitely going to mention it at dance, because she mentions a lot of dance moves and other fun stuff like that. The introduction to Two Strangers was definitely funny. “This is really supposed to be for a girl. But then we met Morgan Karr” That’s another thing I want to bring up at dance because there’s this girl that thinks that nobody and certainly no boy could go as high as Kristen Chenoweth and I’m going to be like “Morgan. Freaking. Karr”
