A Few Rules of the Blog

These are some things I will always do, or never do.....

1. I will always read comments, but I might not see them right away because for some reason they aren't emailed to me.
2. I will never (again) make posts that are for my benefit only.
3. No song/music recommendations! Unless requested. I won't recommend anything unless you ask, and don't recommend anything to me unless I ask. But I am allowed to rave/rant about music. Because that is not a recommendation.
4. I believe that longer posts are better and more interesting, so I will try to stick to long posts. If you want 2 line tidbits, twitter-follow me.
5. I know you're probably more interested in the Broadway related stuff, but bare with me when I post stories and moments from dance and stuff like that. Sometimes it feels good just to tell it.
6. I copy. Well, not any more as much, but I've copied some funny stuff from sites. I just do it so that other people can have the same laughs I do.
7. I try to keep rants to a minimum. But every now and then.... sorry.
8. I don't think any actors read this, so I'll be more honest from now on. If they do read it, then sorry--turn off the Google Alert.
9. I have a Google Alert on myself...that's kind of random. It doesn't work so well. I wish Tom Lenk would teach me how to set one up properly.
10. If I write something about you that's less than nice, sorry. Sometimes I get fired up and Vivian's not online for me to talk to, so I post it here.
11. Although every now and then I may mention trading, I don't give gifts or anything here.
12. I will probably never post excerpts in true order. At least not while I'm posting them individually. I don't write in order. I know its probably confusing and a little spoiler-ific.
13. I like feedback. Okay, I didn't like it on Friday. Because that wasn't feedback, that was a rude awakening. But I really do like feedback; comments, questions, input, anything.
14. I haven't been recommending videos a lot, but I might do it a little more. Videos are different than music, in my opinion. A funny video is a funny video. But a good song isn't always a good song. That's kind of poetic, and really pathetic.

(seriously, what was up with me mentioning the Google Alert? What does that have to do with anything?)
