The beginning is so lame, with Will going around saying hi to everyone. Ick, Rachel's shirt is beyond ugly. (Long sleeve, light pink, strings with balls coming from the collar) Is it just me or does Finn act kind of dopey? Where do they get all of those slushies? I actually think that Le Freak was an okay routine, I mean they suck anyway, so what's the problem? It's weird seeing Terry's sister, they really haven't had her around for awhile. Terry is irritating, pregnant or not. I don't mind Rachel's outfit here (argyle beige sweater with a lighter colored cashmere sweater on top, jean skirt, and high socks matching the sweater) but isn't she hot? Also, the Mercedes diva thing bothers me because later on it just disappears. She doesn't reform later, it just vanishes. I actually like their performing Gold Digger, Amber has a sick voice and I don't mind Matt's rapping here. I like his fake rapper dancing. And everyone else's dancing is kind of lamely cute. Jenna's smile and dancing is really cute, I love how happy she looks. The filming of Rachel "throwing up" is enough to make me throw up. It's a horribly unflatteringly angle. In the office with Emma, another sweater (this time yellow) it doesn't exactly look cashmere, but still hot. The scene in the principal's office features a truly terribly dressed Rachel (Long sleeve black shirt with a white pony.) Terry annoys me, how can you be so selfish and spoiled? The celibacy club is amusing in a sad way. More argyle from Rachel. Do girls really want sex more than guys? How would they even know that? It's a weird statistic to prove. Why would a guidance counselor do SAT prep? Shouldn't someone with actual educational experience do that. I totally did not remember the dairy farm story of how Emma became so obsessive. But with the chalk rubbing on her nose was half pornographic half stupid. I don't mind the singing of Push It, it's the dancing that bothers me. But I really like Jenna's outfit, it actually makes her look good, she may be one of the more attractive group members. How is Lea wearing knee-pads sexy? Rachel teaching Finn is painful to listen to, I'm assuming that's his natural voice then that's a little difficult. The picnic is so stupid, I don't even have elaboration beyond that. Just stupid. Every part of it; the heart touching, the lip touching, the awkward kiss. Ugh. Quinn's audition was actually pretty good. It's a little too cheer-leady seeming if you know what I mean--the arrangement and movements. When Sue calls Quinn "Q" I almost cried because I'm still not over his death. The scene with Will teaching Rachel a lesson is a little bit sad, Her shirt is okay (Short sleeve white shirt with small black diamonds under a vest with the white shirt in kind of a tie) but she doesn't pull it off. Blair could pull that off. Not that he singing of Take A Bow wasn't good, but what is the relevance of it? I'm pretty sure that it's about a guy cheating. In one of the scenes of her singing it she's in the hallway "crying" and sticking her neck out really far. It reminds me of the part of Romeo and Juliet when one of the slaves says something about sticking your neck out. She was also wearing a blue cashmere sweater very similar to one I used to have, but never wore because it was too hot.
That's all for Showmance!
