Chapter #9 (George)

George

I walked towards the door at Starbucks, looking through the window on my way. I saw the girl from yesterday beginning to shut her laptop as I walked in to quickly order my drink. Then I walked over to her and tried to start a conversation.

“You make that look really good.”

To my surprise she wasn’t nearly as repulsed by me as I expected.

“Well, yeah it is really good!”

“I just wanted to see if you’re okay.” I said idiotically.

“Yeah, I’m fine, my sister was dying to get me out of the sweater!” she responded brightly.

Now would be as good a time as any to introduce myself “I’m George Rosengard by the way.”

She held out her hand “Bella Swan” I thought about her name for a second, she didn't really seem like a Bella. I don't know, that name reminds me of the ballet Marla dragged me to...Swan Lake. I mean she's pretty like a ballerina, but she seems better. She seems more interesting, fun, and strong then a boring, bland, helpless Bella.

But she really didn't need to know everything I was thinking about her name.

“Well, nice to meet you!”

She started talking to me so sweetly, so funny. She was really good at cracking jokes.

After a little while she suddenly freaked out

“Oh my god! I have to go or I’ll be late!” She suddenly flew towards the door

But I had to ask the question that had been on my mind

“Wait!”

She turned toward me

“Is Bella Swan really your name?”

She smiled evilly “Maybe!” leaving me to watch her beautiful hair flip away from me. I stared at the door after the spitfire had already pranced down the sidewalk away from where I could see her.

Bella, Swan, Bella...nope, still didn't seem right.

Does Art Imitate Life or Does Life Imitate Art?

Girrl,
I just read your post. I'm PMg you because I think posting this on the thread would be inappropirate. The is a very sensitive subject and I don't want to put it all out there for everyone to read.

I'm a very layed back person and hope you take this as constructive...in a very possitive way. As far as your friend not reading your email, maybe you should send them with a return receipt. That way you will now if she actually read them.

Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, well fine! Not like it's even worth the time, but still you know you wanted more. Sorry it won't change, been there before.

From your posts on JSO I get the impression that you are only there for attention and maybe for acceptance. You don't seem to blend in with the others but rather...how do I say this? You post a lot of comments and videos and instead of sitting back and waiting for replies, you ask for them. You are looking for people to ask them into your heart but it's not working. You seem to be on the boards to voice your stuff but don't really seem to care about others. I'm so sorry to say this but with your comment about not having any friends leads me to believe that you have some very serious social problems.

The thing that sucks okay for me. A thousand bucks, I'm like SCOTT FREE, and I mean please that's all I need. Get real okay? By now you know the score.

You say that you don't care about your appearance. That is an obvious clue that you don't care about yourself (or maybe don't have enough confidence in yourself). If you cared anything about yourself you would try to al least have an interest on how you look. I don't mean wearing a lot of makeup, trendy clothes...but rather a self gratification. People see these things and back off because they see someone who doesn't care about themselves and if that's the case they know you won't care about them.

You wanna laugh, it's too absurd. You start to ask, can't hear a word. Your gonna crash and BURN! Right tell me more....

I obviously don't know you you but can guess that your family communications are not the most desirable. Something there tells me that you need to talk to a school counsler. I know that sounds pretty scary, but that's what they're there for.

If you really want to fit in...now's the time to do it. Talk to a counselor now. He/she will keep it confidential. You must not worry about seeming weak. They deal with this kind of stuff all the time and are trained on how to help you. It will make it so much better for the rest of your life.

Okay so now we do the play, act like we so care? No Way! You'll right my folks, well okay. Babe that's how it goes...

Again, I'm sorry if I offend you in any way. But I truly think you could change your life to a very positive and rewarding experience if you would seek some advise.

I wish you the best. it is a very difficult thing to deal with. But if you really want to make and keep friends, please seriously think about what I've suggessted here.

They'll freak or won't, you tow the line. You tell your soul "just kill some time" Will it quit? It will until they don't. They're not my home, not anymore. Not like they so were before, still I'll split and they'll like...well who knows?

As far as Jim goes, my niece is 26 years old and thinks my interst in him is very wiered because of my age.. I don't have any obsession to seek him out. I just love his talent and look forward to watching his acting carreer develop. With people at work, I come across as joking about Jim. They all know I love him but I can make jokes about is to they think it's all in fun.

I've learned not to talk about him very often and tend to make conversation with others leads.

Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh, well fine. Not like it's even worth the time. But still you know, you wanted more. Okay so nothing's changed? Heard that before. You wanna laugh, it's too absurd. You start to ask can't hear a word. You gonna crash and burn. Right tell me more! You start to cave, you start to cry, you try to run, no where to hide. You wanna crumble up and close that door.

But seriously, Girrl, please look into talking to a professional. You need to learn better communication skills.

Lots of Love,
XXXXXXXX (Name with held--Aren't I nice?)

Just fuck it write enough, that's it! You'll still go on, well for a bit! Another day of utter shit! And then there were none, And then there were none, And then there were none, AND THEN THERE WERE NONE!!!!!!

So I got this message sometime in September from this lady on the fansite JimSturgess.org and she decides that she can talk to me and thinks she has the authority to talk like that? Who ever said that my
Family communications are not the most desirable
?????? She had no right to say that, my family is great and if I felt the need to talk to them...I WOULD! I don't care what they think about me, because they don't know anything! They don't know anything about my friends, my family, my school, my life, or me! All they know is this hot celebrity is not my only enjoyment in the world! It's not fair for people to just say those kinds of things: Everything that I want to say to those miserable people, I keep to myself. And it really is wrong that nobody bothers listening or thinking before they say shit about me...

She's lucky all I did was make a Spring Awakening reference rant a little. It could have been much much worse.

I totallly love this performance. It is the girl's power song!

I always have loved this song in the movie, and I think this is really cool!

Chapter #8 (Sarah)

Sarah

I excitedly leaped into Starbucks the next day, I was excited to see George now that we'd spoken for the first time. I nearly flew to the counter to see Mark,

“Grande Skim Cappuccino!” I found herself nearly singing/screaming to my listless little friend, who grunted “Coming right up.” in response. Author's Note: It would suffice to say she's totally in an ALICE mood. When I got her drink I had to wait a little to have it because I had work to finish for my show. Being the only female writer on FOUND Author's Note: Get it? LOST? FOUND? LOL! meant I always needed to be ahead of the game. Luckily it didn’t take my long to finish the work and then took a long sip of my drink savoring every bit of it. While I was in heaven in my coffee I heard a voice above me say “You make that really good.” I looked up to see George standing over me smiling.

I gestured for him to sit down,

“Well, yeah it is really good!” I said back, smiling.

George looked at me and said “I just wanted to see if you’re okay after…yesterday.”

“Oh yeah, I’m fine, my sister was dying to get me out of that sweater anyway!” I said, gesturing to my new uber-cute sweater.

George looked kind of relieved to hear that (not to mention he was totally checking me out in my outfit)

“Well I’m George…Rosengard.”

I thought for a moment on which literary direction I'd like to mislead him to... “Bella Swan.” I almost said my name was Ponyboy, but there's a good chance he's read The Outsiders. I was so close to laughing at the look of confusion on George’s face, but he shook my hand.

“Pleased to meet you.”

As we started talking to each other I felt such a connection to George and I kept thinking “He's exactly what I'd hoped!” In fact I was enjoying talking to George so much that I suddenly looked at her watch and realized

“Oh my gosh, I have to go or I’ll be late.”

I thought George looked almost disappointed (Not like it would be a bad thing!) “I’ll see you tomorrow?”

“Definitely.” I turned to leave

“Wait!” George called “…Is Bella Swan really your name?”

I turned secretly towards George, it was almost too much to bear. “Hmmm…maybe.” then I turned away flipping my hair powerfully away, then I walked through the door.

SA EB

I love this, I just really really really really really do!

Chapter #7 (Mark)

Mark

“6 AM in the freaking morning” I thought “is too damn early.” 10 minutes after opening I watched as Sarah dragged herself through the door. I assumed that she was exaggerating her actions just a little bit. I watched as Sarah flung her bag on the table and sighed. When she got to the counter I nearly sung “Good morning sunshine, what can I get you today?” trying to cheer her up.

In response to my question all Sarah did was yawn. I was pretty surprised that Sarah was for once not able to speak, luckily I knew the best thing for her would be a "Venti Coffee...Triple Caff?"

Sarah zombie like handed me her purse for me to take the money. I watched as Sarah dragged herself to her chair and for the first time ever I actually saw Sarah act humanly! For 20 minutes I watched as Sarah slept until I saw George walking to the door. As George walked in I put on the song “The Bitch of Living” which was Sarah’s alarm, so it would wake her up, I was thinking of putting on her old alarm but realized that wasn’t very subtle. I also needed to turn it off before the chorus because explicit music is sort of banned from all Starbucks's. As I planned Sarah sprung awake and fixed her hair, which was good because I thought it looked a little weird (when does it not?) When George ordered his drink I thought a little matchmaking needed to be done. I finally made Sarah’s drink (She was asleep, there was no need to make it earlier!) along with George’s, but which I didn’t quite put the lid on right because from experience I knew that could make the drink spill. To set the putsch in motion I carefully put George and Sarah’s drinks out at the same time and watched as they both grabbed for their drinks. As planned George spilled his drink on Sarah and Mark couldn’t help but smile as things began to unfold.

Chapter #6 (George)

George

Yesterday after I had seen that beautiful girl again I told Marla that I wouldn't have time to go to Starbucks anymore. It worked perfectly because I knew that Marla wouldn’t go on her own because she didn’t even like Starbucks, which meant I was free to see that girl without suspicion. When I walked through the door at Starbucks I saw her sitting at one of the tables and I could swear she smiled at me. I ordered my drink and when I went up to get it I noticed she was there at the same time, but she must have waited awhile for it but she didn’t seem bothered. My body was overcome with a totally new feeling when she smiled at me, her smile so sweet, warm, and inviting. Authors Note: Is this suggestive enough? LOL! Had I not been so distracted I would have noticed that the lid of the drink wasn’t all the way on, and I would have had a chance to keep my drink from spilling. Nevertheless, I did spill my drink, all over the girl who I was desperately trying to impress. She seemed really upset about being covered in hot liquid and I didn’t want to ruin my chance. She glared at me angrily, I swear she looked like she could eat me. But I didn't want her to hate me.

“Oh my god! I’m so sorry! Are you okay?” I asked nervously while desperately patting at her shirt wishing the stain would disappear.

She nodded quickly “I’m fine.” but I didn’t entirely believe her.

“Please let me make it up to you.” I suggested hoping to get a second chance.

“I guess that’ll be okay.” She agreed.

I walked away shaking my head I am such an idiot, but at least I had a reason to see her again.

Chapter #5 (Sarah)

Sarah

Groggily, dizzily, and exhaustedly (are there other words to describe that it was too early???) I slowly made my way through the door into the empty Starbucks and dropped my heavy bag onto one of the tables, sighing with relief. I continued to slowly make my way to the counter where Mark greeted me with a huge smile.

“Good morning sunshine! What can I get for you today?” He annoys me at times. I opened my mouth in attempt to order but all I could manage was a yawn in his face. He seemed to get the message.

“Venti coffee it is.” Mark said. Sarah could tell that he was surprised that she was actually too tired to speak.

"Hmm, Triple Caff couldn't hurt" He added thoughtfully.

I put my purse on the counter, and Mark took the money I owed out and gave put the change back.

“Your drink will be ready soon.” Mark chirped. I flopped into one of the hard cold chairs and almost fell asleep upon contact. Over the course of 20 minutes I managed to actually fall asleep with my head on the table (really, really tired. Remember?) “Bitch of Living” suddenly and loudly came on, I jerked awake in a subconscious response to the song that was my alarm. A song that was actually sung by George was actually my old alarm, but I changed it, because his voice waking me at 5 AM was not good for our "relationship." Mark, unfortunately, had to change the song before the chorus because profanity at Starbucks was frowned upon. When I had suddenly woke I saw George walking in the door. I quickly smoothed my hair (like that would help the nest which we call my hair) and smiled at George when he walked through, then I realized I still hadn’t gotten my drink from Mark (That's theft, because I "paid!") I watched George as he walked to the counter and ordered his drink. I glared at Mark as he made the drink. Finally Mark put up a Grande Americana and a Venti Coffee, and smiled evilly at me. I walked up at the same time as George and smiled at him and he smiled back at me. I grabbed my drink and immediately took a sip. George took his and suddenly the lid sort of back-flipped off and the drink spilled all over me. I was furious, my favorite sweater stained, and the drink was burning hot! This was when I was going to finally bring truth to the rumor that I was a evil-murderous vampire. She looked up to say something mean (and possibly eat a human), but before I could speak George spoke first

“Oh my god! I’m so sorry! Are you okay?” Suddenly it came back to Sarah; George was her life, she loved his movies, music, and everything about him

He made an attempt to fix the damage with his hand, which sent chills through my body in spite of the burning hot coffee.

“Oh, I’m fine, I guess.” I responded meekly, feeling bad for wanting to be so mean.

“Just let me make it up to you.” George suggested to me. I could definetly think of some ways he could "make it up to me."

“Well…I guess that would be okay!” I felt strangely happy to finally make an impression on George, even if it meant ruining her sweater.
