Yesterday after I had seen that beautiful girl again I told Marla that I wouldn't have time to go to Starbucks anymore. It worked perfectly because I knew that Marla wouldn’t go on her own because she didn’t even like Starbucks, which meant I was free to see that girl without suspicion. When I walked through the door at Starbucks I saw her sitting at one of the tables and I could swear she smiled at me. I ordered my drink and when I went up to get it I noticed she was there at the same time, but she must have waited awhile for it but she didn’t seem bothered. My body was overcome with a totally new feeling when she smiled at me, her smile so sweet, warm, and inviting. Authors Note: Is this suggestive enough? LOL! Had I not been so distracted I would have noticed that the lid of the drink wasn’t all the way on, and I would have had a chance to keep my drink from spilling. Nevertheless, I did spill my drink, all over the girl who I was desperately trying to impress. She seemed really upset about being covered in hot liquid and I didn’t want to ruin my chance. She glared at me angrily, I swear she looked like she could eat me. But I didn't want her to hate me.
“Oh my god! I’m so sorry! Are you okay?” I asked nervously while desperately patting at her shirt wishing the stain would disappear.
She nodded quickly “I’m fine.” but I didn’t entirely believe her.
“Please let me make it up to you.” I suggested hoping to get a second chance.
“I guess that’ll be okay.” She agreed.
I walked away shaking my head I am such an idiot, but at least I had a reason to see her again.
